Как же я его хотела, девочки…Как хотела…
Впервые карандаш для бровей в непривычной глазу треугольной форме я увидела несколько лет назад в коллекции Tom Ford. Посмотрела, облизнулась и уговорила себя, что за такие деньги оно мне не надо и со спокойной совестью забыла. Через какое-то время в коллекции Burberry появился такой же карандашик. Сердце ёкнуло и мой маленький монстрик под именем «мненада» зашевелился с ещё большим рвением, но бунт был подавлен доводами рассудка мол: «как ты этим будешь пользоваться», или « а вдруг не очень, столько денег зря потратишь». Недовольно ворча монстрик убрался восвояси и я, весьма довольная собой, в очередной раз успокоилась. Но уж когда карандаш треугольной формы появился у моей любимой марки продуктов для бровей, тут уж не помогли никакие доводы. Разум еще пытался сопротивляться, но рука, под управлением упомянутым ранее товарищем «мненада» уже кидала в корзину покупок противоречивого героя сегодняшнего поста.

Чтобы хоть как-то оправдать своё легкомыслие скажу, пожалуй, что покупка была сделана исключительно потому что у меня в арсенале уже довольно много продуктов для бровей от Анастасии и все они мною нежно любимы и никаких нареканий не вызывали. Да ещё и эта заманчивая форма, будь она не ладна… Но обо всём по порядку. Начнём с упаковки. Карандашик продаётся вот в такой симпатичной коробочке цвета розового золота. Что тут скажешь, глаз радует и славненько. На коробке указана вся информация о продукте. Вес скромненький, всего 0,2 гр. Сделан в США и продукт не тестировался на животных, о чём свидетельствует милый зайчонок на обороте.
Сам карандашик упакован в черный пластиковый корпус с вставками цвета того же розового золота. Сам корпус сделан качественно, тут никаких нареканий. С одной стороны под колпачком у карандашика расположилась жесткая щёточка для бровей (очень удобная, кстати), а с другой стороны выкручивающийся стержень.
Производитель вовсю нахваливает нам свою «уникальную» треугольную форму кончика карандаша и её волшебные свойства. Во-первых, острым кончиком можно нарисовать тонкие и очень натуральные штрихи в местах, где волосы растут редко. Во-вторых, тыльной стороной можно нарисовать коротенькие толстые штрихи. Ну и в-третьих, длинные боковушки предназначены для быстрого заполнения формы брови. Т.е. сама идея состоит в том, что вы можете одним карандашом создавать разный эффект на брови и виртуозно накладывать разной толщины штрихи там, где это необходимо. Звучит заманчиво, не так ли? Давайте рассмотрим поближе этот кончик и его способности.
Как видите — всё так, производитель нас не обманывает. И кончик треугольный и штрихи разные. Но что же с ним делать после первого использования, когда карандашик затупился и потерял свою форму? Производитель предлагает нам точить его, внимание: путём стирания кончика об любую ровную поверхность до нужной остроты. WTF? Чтоо?! Да в нем итак 0,2 гр., я его ещё по бумажке должна размазывать? Посмотрите, во что превращается хвалёный треугольный кончик после оформления двух бровей:
Видите, сколько нужно «спилить» для приведения его в форму. На сколько же применений он тогда рассчитан? Но это, кстати говоря, не единственная его проблема. Дело в том, что сам стержень изнутри прилегает к корпусу неплотно, вследствие чего там есть небольшой люфт и при использовании стержень как бы «ходит» туда-сюда, что не очень удобно. Ну и, соответственно, когда боковые четкие грани стачиваются, что происходит практически мгновенно, становится невозможным провести мало-мальски приличную ровную линию. Всё сразу же выходит из под контроля. Я была просто вне себя, когда осознала насколько он бесполезен без своей формы и сколько продукта улетает в трубу, чтобы её добиться.
Есть правда и хорошие моменты. Качество самого продукта отличное. Цвет абсолютно мой. Стойкость на высоте, держится целый день как прибитый до победного. Сам стержень в меру мягкий, цвет отдаёт хорошо, растушевывается очень легко.
Давайте покажу вам на примере, как можно оформить бровь данным экземпляром.
Бровь а-ля натюрель. Зачёсываю все волосики по направлению вверх. Затем снизу подчеркиваю линию роста волос одной линией. Щеточкой как бы зачёсывая волоски по направлению вверх растягиваю линию. Ватной палочкой сразу стираю все огрехи.
Далее зачесываю волоски брови по направлению вниз и короткими штрихами вырисовываю верхнюю линию будущей брови. Толстыми штрихами заполняю получившуюся форму начиная от первой трети брови до кончика, не трогая пока самое начало. Все хорошенько расчесываю щеточкой. Дальше оформляю начало бровки: самым тонким краем рисую тонкие штрихи, имитирующие волосы, по направлению вверх. Сверху все закрепляю прозрачным гелем той же марки. В начале брови я люблю укладывать волоски по направлению вверх, а от середины до кончика укладываю по росту.
Вот что выходит. Для меня такой вариант не очень-то опрятный, поэтому продолжаем. Беру самый светлый консилер и плоскую синтетическую кисть. Подчищаю все огрехи внизу, а затем сверху, как бы выделяя форму.
И вот такой результат получается после всех моих действий. Вполне достойно.
Подводя итог хочу сказать, что у меня двоякие впечатления от данного карандашика. С одной стороны хорошее качество, красивый и натуральный результат, отменная стойкость. С другой стороны гигантский расход, да и люфт самого стержня не способствует комфортному использованию, неэкономный способ заточки. А еще, лично мне рисовать форму таким карандашом не очень-то удобно. Очень сложно поймать угол и провести линию точно там, где надо. Стержень так и норовит оставить следы там, где совсем не нужно. Да вы сами видели сколько огрехов было в процессе нанесения. Ватной палочкой не отделаться, обязательно нужен консилер. Да простят меня его поклонники – ну не стоит он своих денег!

How to apply
- Begin by exposing only a small amount of product (about 2–3 millimeters); this allows for maximum control of the pencil and prevents overextension when applying the product. Remember all Anastasia Beverly Hills products are highly pigmented, so little pressure is required.
- Start by defining the brow shape. Using the spoolie end of Brow Definer, comb brow hairs upward. Then, using the flat edge of the pencil, outline the bottom of the brow from arch to tail. Next, comb brow hairs downward and outline the top of the brow from arch to tail using the flat edge.
- Comb brow hairs back in place and fill in the brow from arch to tail using the medium edge of the pencil. Blend using the spoolie.
- Using the fine tip of the pencil, detail the front of the brow by creating hairlike strokes. Starting at the base of the front of the brow, press the tip down and pull up in the direction of hair’s natural growth. Use this technique throughout areas of sparseness. Continuously blend throughout application.
Pro Tips:
- Use the fine tip to create hairlike strokes by applying light pressure and swiping in the direction of hair’s natural growth.
- For a quick, on-the-go brow application, use the flat side of the pencil to outline the top and the bottom of the brow, shade in the center of the brow and blend.
- Keep Brow Definer sharp by lightly swiping the tip on a piece of paper. Start by exposing a small amount of product, then gently run the widest side of the pencil in an up-and-down motion on a flat sheet of paper. This will restore its shape and refresh the tip and sides.

I love this product so much! I am someone with already thick brows but with some sparse areas, however, I have never been able to find a product that gave me a natural filled in look. All brow products are usually too waxy, too heavy, too dark, and just left me with super thick, unappealing brows. The ABH product, however, is perfect. It deposits the perfect amount of product, with the perfect amount of pigment, and the shade range guarantees youll find the colour the fits you best. WOW WOW WOW . So FIIIIIRST OF ALL, before ABH brow definer I was using the Ruby Kisses Go-Brow pencil (no tea no shade, I still love my A1 Day 1 pencil) and I was getting by just fine! However this brow product changed the game for me! I picked two up at Ulta during the 21 days of beauty sale and it was two for the price of 1. I love the triangle shape of the pencil and it glides on so smooth I dont feel like I have to press down super hard to get the pigment out. It makes the brow process quick and easy and it does not smudge but I always like to set mine with a bit of powder. To all my ladies who obsess over their brows and find themselves taking too much time on them, GET THIS. Even when its not on sail, its worth the money its cuts brow slayage time in HALF . I also love the spool brush attached at the end, it makes it convenient and and perfect travel friendly product. I used the ABH PENCIL in the pictures Ive attached. Just to give you a nice visual of how the product SLAYS brows.

They dont call this one a holy grail item for nothing!
Excellent color match in auburn, which is difficult at times with my red hair!
Easy to use, easy to apply. Leaves no waxy or crusty feel to the brows when finished. Product doesnt snap or fall out. The triangular edge on the tip is so easy to use and makes getting that really defined look a breeze.
Pro tip: The soft spoolie can then give it a soft, more natural look. Dont worry if it looks a bit dark in the beginning!
This is a product with zero flaws that will give you flawless brows!

I use the Brow Definer everyday as a base for my eyebrows. I am a natural blonde & that includes my eyebrows, so if I dont do them, it looks like I dont have any eyebrows at all. The brow Definer in Taupe is my ideal shade & I love the angle of the pencil because it helps you create even brows every time. I cant believe that I lived this long without trying Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer! This is a life changing product for me. Ive always found brow pencils to be too dark or fake looking, but the angled pencil on this enables me to individually draw new brows exactly where I need them. I have pretty thin brows with a few patchy areas around the beginning and end of my arch, this does an amazing job of just filling in the missing bits while looking amazingly natural. With this brow definer, I get amazingly well defined brows without any harsh lines. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone whos looking for nice, natural looking brows.

Easy to use
I love Anastasia’s products and this is the 4th brow product I’ve bought. It just keeps getting better and better. I’ve tried the brow powder with the angle brush the smaller defining pencil brow gel and now this. This pencil makes it super easy to fill and define your Brows quickly and with little effort and with plenty of room for error. The thinner pencil and the powder it’s easier to mess your brows up. With this tri-tip pencil you can’t go wrong. It’s easy to sharpen too just draw a line on a piece of paper and done you’ve sharpened it. I use the dark brown and the brunette brow gel. I’m so happy the Sephora MUA suggested this!

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Definer – Ebony
So I got this pencil on my Anastasias voxbox and I love it!!! I have full natural brows but you always need a little fill in on some spots.. just to give some dimension and make them fuller!! And is what exactly I got!! On the pics you can see a before and after.. and i loved the results!!!
